He's liable to show up in a Hawaiian shirt for staff pictures or drop the perfectly timed dry joke to get a chuckle from the staff team. But in all seriousness, when it comes to expert eyecare, Dr. Gordon is as good as it gets.
Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Gordon graduated from West High School and began his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Only then did he leave his home state to complete his undergraduate and his Doctorate of Optometry at Ohio State University.
As soon as he completed his schooling at OSU, he came back to Madison to start practicing and has remained here ever since. He joined the team at Wright Vision Care, LLC in 1997. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Wisconsin Optometric Association.
When asked what gives him passion to continue caring for his patient's eyes, Dr. Gordon said, "Seeing my patient's appreciation when I help improve their vision is an irreplaceable feeling of satisfaction."
Dr. Gordon lives in Madison with his wife Janet. They have three children Beth, Brady and Katherine. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Gordon loves playing golf and is excellent at woodworking.
