We are SO excited to introduce you to the newest member of our team, Dr. Jessamyn Kovacs!
Dr. Kovacs is a Wisconsin native, raised on a small farm in Mercer, Wisconsin. She's only lived outside the state for four years while earning her Doctorate of Optometry in California.
Which leads us to her stellar educational background. She has a Bachelor of Science from UW Stevens Point, a nursing degree from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and a Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry. She is also American Board of Opticianry (ABOC) certified.
Dr. Kovacs has a particular passion for the treatment and management of glaucoma as well as contact lenses.
When asked what gives her motivation in the eye-care industry she said, "Not only do I enjoy serving my patients by providing them with their eye health examinations but I also enjoy the one-to-one setting and building relationships with my patients and their families."
While she's an expert in eye care, she does have other passions too. She is married and enjoys running, cooking, boating, and murder mystery books and TV series.
We welcome her as a new member of our team but she does have a prior history with Wright Vision Care, LLC. She worked for Dr. Wright in the optical department 10 years ago!
So I guess we would like to welcome back Dr. Kovacs!
She is taking appointments at both the Main Street Office and the Prairie Lakes Office. But she would love to meet you even if you are not due for an exam so please stop in and say hello!
